Kailash Mansarovar Tour Description
Mount Kailash, located in far west corner of Tibet it is the most sacred peak of Asia. The beauty of the 6700 meter high Mount Kailash, that looks like a symmetrical cone shaped rock capped by pure crystalline ice all the time, is echoed in various mythological and literary works. Hindu pilgrims consider the mountain to be the home of their God-Lord Shiva. For Buddhists, Mount Kailash is said to be the Center of the Universe-the axis mundi in Asian cosmology. Every year hundreds of pilgrims travel from all over the Indian sub continent and Tibet to make the ritual circumambulation around the mountain in their quest for enlightenment and this trek will join them on their journey.Kailash Mansarovar Tour Itinerary
Day 01 : Kathmanduyou meet our representative who takes you to our hotel. Over Night At Hotel.
Day 02 : Kathmandu
After an early morning breakfast, you will be taken to the pashupati nath temple where you can offer worship and full day sightseeing tour in kathmandu valley. In the Evening preparation includes inspection and demonstration of equipments which will come handy during yatra.
Day 03 : Nylam
After the early morning breakfast at Kathmandu you set out for a yatra to Nylam. On the way, you will cross Nepal - China Boarder. From here a Chinese guide and land cruiser drivers would provide you with all the information about the journey and take you to Zangmu. Here you need to go through all the immigration and custom formalities.
Day 04 : Nylam
After the hectic journey you relax on the fourth day of your Journey at the guesthouse in Nylam.
Day 05 : Saga
you leave for Saga. it will be a long drive as you pass though sandy and rocky land of Tibet. On the way to Saga you will witness the beautiful lake, hoards of yaks and sheep chased by the nomads. Soon after lunch you will pass through Bhramha Purtra River and enter the Chinese and Tibetan town, Saga.
Day 06 : Paryang
Paryang is your next destination. The landscape of this place is dotted with rocky peaks, snow clad mountains and beautiful vistas.
Day 07 : Paryang - Manasarover
The next day you drive to Manasarover and Finally you reach the Holy Kailash Mansarovar. Here You will find the highest lake of fresh water teaming with blue fishes and swans. The Mt. Gurula-Mandala, Holy Kailash Parbat and Lake Rashekshi surround the place. You can also visit the gold mines, hot springs and the wild life which make this place a popular.
Day 08 : Darchen
After the morning worship and bath you take a car to Tarchen, the base camp for the Holy Kailash Parikrama.
Day 09 : Dehara Puk
You devote this day to trek to Dehara Puk and witness the beautiful rocky cliffs and water falls on your way.
Day 10 : Zuthal Puk
The tenth day of your journey takes you on a yatra to Zuthal Puk. This thrilling journey passes through Dolma-La pass, Yamasthal and Shiva-sthal from where you can reach the highest point. This peak is considered holy. Slowly you descend from the mountain and cross the Parvati-stal and Gauri Kunda on your way. You reach Zuthal Puk.
Day 11 : Return to base camp
After the Kailash Parikrama you drive back to Manasarovara. Here you need to walk for three hours and then join the driving crew that takes you to the lodge/camp. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 12 : Paryang
You spend the twelfth day of your Tibet Mt Kailash exploring the beautiful Paryang.
Day 13 : Saga
You next destination is Saga. You can devote the whole day discovering the beauty of the place.
Day 14 : Nylam / Zang Mu
On the fourteenth day of your Travel you can take a journey around Nylam or Zang Mu and enjoy the serene atmosphere.
Day 15 : Kathmandu
You start your return journey to Kathmandu.
Day 16 : Departure
Final Departure to airport.
